Detroit Reconnect is an initiative to help adults who are pursuing or returning to higher education gain new skills, advance in the workplace, and fulfill lifelong dreams of completing a degree or credential. The Detroit Reconnect team believes everyone deserves to achieve their college dreams and have a rewarding career. Detroit Reconnect was founded by the Detroit Regional Chamber as part of the Detroit Drives Degrees initiative to make higher education a reality for adults in Southeast Michigan.

Detroit Reconnect offers personalized support and college advising services, including choosing the right school, career exploration, financial aid support, and connecting to community partners that support families.
