Located in the heart of Detroit\u2019s central business district, the Detroit Regional Chamber is one of the oldest, largest and most respected chambers of commerce in the country. Having served Southeast Michigan\u2019s business community for more than 100 years, we are a trusted advocate, partner, and thought-leader that serves as a go-to resource for information, data, and support. Our members range from scrappy start-up companies to global Fortune 500 companies who create jobs, investment, and economic opportunity in one of the most innovative Regions in the nation.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n

What We Do<\/h3>\n

As the voice of business in the 11-county Southeast Michigan Region, the Chamber\u2019s mission is to create a business-friendly climate and drive economic growth. We advocate for policy at all levels of government from Detroit to Lansing to Washington, D.C. In pushing for increased economic prosperity, we conduct the Region\u2019s most robust education and talent programming and MICHauto — the only statewide automotive industry cluster. We are the state\u2019s premier business convener hosting more than 60 events annually including the nationally unique Mackinac Policy Conference. Our commitment is to provide value and resources that help our members \u2013 and Region \u2013 thrive.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n

The Detroit Regional Chamber believes that business is a means to create opportunity, improve quality of life, and solve the most complex challenges we face today. The private sector has an irreplaceable role in driving equitable economic growth and building stronger more resilient communities, but requires committed partners in academia, government, and philanthropy. Regional collaboration that leverages our unique assets and talent is essential to helping Southeast Michigan reach its full economic potential.
