To capture the latest sentiments of the regional and statewide business community and better understand its members\u2019 needs, the Chamber regularly conducts polls and surveys on top issues.<\/p>\n

Since 2020, the Chamber has partnered with Glengariff Group Inc. to conduct recurring polls of registered Michigan voters on timely economic issues like inflation, COVID-19\u2019s impact on business, political sentiment, among others. Additional past studies and surveys have been conducted with partners like Business Leaders for Michigan and Dykema.<\/p>\n

These polls and surveys provide employers of all sizes and types a clearer picture of employees\u2019 mindsets while providing decision-makers key insight into how residents and businesses feel or are reacting to key events and trends.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n

The Detroit Regional Chamber recently released findings from its latest statewide poll of 600 registered Michigan voters in partnership with the Glengariff Group, Inc. The poll was conducted between Nov. 5-9, 2023.<\/p>\n

Findings include that Michiganders are realizing that the state is not competitive in key areas, and concerns about Michigan\u2019s economic competitiveness are exacerbated by the UAW strike against the Detroit Three automakers.
